Since 2012, Luigi has been supervising all aspects of user experience for sum.cumo, including branding, UX design, visual design, interface design and advertising/campaigning – also as a member of the management team since 2015. He heads the UX department, continually expanding its capabilities and range of services. Prior to sum.cumo, Luigi was a freelance brand designer and worked for the Schaffhausen Communication Group as well as for FutureBrand (McCann Erickson network). He places great importance on interdisciplinary teamwork, and on always ensuring a good balance between the user’s viewpoint and the client’s needs. For Luigi, “There’s no better place to work with people, for people, and to constantly develop while also shaping and influencing technological progress.” Luigi has high standards regarding results, and this also means constantly questioning the status quo. Beyond that, Luigi spends a lot of time with his family and also likes to stay in touch with his relatives in Italy and Portugal. For him, a perfect day on the road means getting to know “real life” in the smallest villages while learning about local culture and history. Luigi has written articles about the market launch of Pangaea Life and about insurance company sponsorship.
