Rebranding - New look at sum.cumo
It has been a good two and a half years since the sum.cumo brand was last adapted. Since then, a lot has happened and a lot has changed in the company. Founded in 2010, sum.cumo has grown very quickly through innovative projects with start-ups and established players in the insurance industry and has now tripled in size. Our collaborative, modern way of working around digital-first has also contributed to this. We are more digital than ever and very well positioned even in times of crisis, such as currently the Covid 19 pandemic. With this tremendous development, sum.cumo has positioned itself as one of the leading Insurtechs in the DACH market.
Finally, in early 2020, the acquisition of sum.cumo by Sapiens International Corporation (NADSDAQ and TASE: SPNS), an Israeli tech company, was announced. As a digital pioneer, sum.cumo continues to maintain its independent position. With the change process still in full swing, the two companies continue to converge. In order to support each other even better in the future and to position themselves strongly together as a unit in the DACH region, a visual update comes just in time: the rebranding.
The main goal of the rebranding was to combine the best of both worlds. The typical sum.cumo look, characterized by pixels, was complemented by the round shapes of Sapiens. Under the motto "Liquid Pixel", a completely new CI & CD was created. The colors are based on Sapiens, while the style and typography as well as the logo have been further developed. These changes are now also reflected on the sum.cumo website, which has been adapted and optimized accordingly. In the future, however, not only the content on the website will appear in the new design, but also social media profiles and posts, as well as our entire internal and external communication will correspond to the innovative look.
Assets by Nicolas (Arnold), which the artist created especially for us, were used for the look of the rebranding. By mixing colors and chemicals that react and flow together, abstract shapes and silhouettes are created, allowing for a variety of associations - in keeping with our motto "Liquid Pixel". In high-resolution close-ups, Nicolas produced videos and photos that were the starting point of our rebranding.
The visual change is also accompanied by the adaptation of sum.cumo Sapiens' product portfolio on our website. This includes on the DACH market SCIP Core, SCIP Sales as well as SCIP Car, IDITSuite, CoreSuite, ReinsuranceMaster, Business Intelligence and Decision. sum.cumo Sapiens is thus the most comprehensive provider of the digitalization of business models in the insurance industry!
